BAD RIVER: Free Showing!
Thurs, May 9, 7pm @ Thomas Theaters
"Bad River" is a compelling documentary that follows the Wisconsin-based Bad River Band in their determined struggle for sovereignty. The film reveals their ongoing David vs. Goliath battle to protect Lake Superior, America's largest freshwater resource, through a narrative of shocking revelations and devastating losses. It highlights their enduring legacy of defiance and resilience, underscored by the words of Bad River Tribal Elder Eldred Corbine: “We gotta protect it… die for it, if we have to.”
