Agios Georgios
A sud di Creta, a poca distanza da Agia Galini, si trova la spiaggia di Agios Georgios. È luogo lontano dalla frenesia della vita cittadina, con acque cristalline e una spiaggia incontaminata. Il posto giusto per una vacanza all’insegna del relax.

Gortyna - Archaeological site
Gortyna or Gortys was an ancient city of Crete and was the capital during the Roman era. Nowadays is a beautiful archaeological site.
According to the myth, Zeus took refuge there after he transformed into a bull and abducted Europe. Their three children were born in Gortyna and later became kings of the three Minoan palaces of Crete.
Agiofarago
Agiofarago Canyon is located in south of Odigitria Monastery is very scenic and accessed only on foot. Its name indicates that it was used by many hermits who stayed here because of the isolation of the area.
Kommos beach
The ancient port of Phaistos has one of the longest beaches in Crete. In front of the antiquities there is a part of the beach with sunbeds and umbrellas. There is a tavern a little further.
Saint Georges beach
A beautiful beach, right next to Agia Galini can be reached by car or by boat from the port of Agia Galini or even on foot in about 1 hour.
Kalamaki beach
A sandy beach in front of the little village of Kalamaki. Along the beach you will find restaurants and cafes.
Agia Triada - Archaeological site
The Royal Villa or the small Minoan Palace of Agia Triada (Holy Trinity) as was named by the archaeologists who excavated the area during the early 20th century. Was built in 1,600 BC over a hill near Phaistos and is one of the greatest monuments of Minoan architecture with important findings.
