This national award recognizes Edwards’ exceptional research accomplishments in inorganic chemistry, particularly her work exploring the role of aromatic groups in metal-organic frameworks and their effectiveness in removing organic dyes from water.

Inés Latapia Izquierdo, a business administration major and student-athlete from Zaragoza, Spain, has been named the 2025 student commencement speaker at UVA Wise. She is recognized for her meaningful contributions to student life and academic excellence.
