Holy Week is the pinnacle of the Liturgical Year. We celebrate the passion, death and resurrection of Our Lord. In doing so, we remind ourselves of the love of God for each one of us. We pray as a community, for each other and our extended families so that we may know the power of transforming love in our own lives.
We bring to our week of prayer the poor, the crippled, the lame, the worried, the bereaved and the sick. We strive again to understand the immense love God has for us.

The Students from the local National Schools have made St Brigid’s Crosses. Friday 2nd February is designated Candlemas Day. If you wish to have a candle blessed please mark it with your name and leave it in the Church on the table provided at the altar. The candles will be blessed before the 9.30am Mass in Askea Church on Friday 2nd February, 2024.
