5/10: Err…Sure is pretty.

TV10 Crested Butte and Gunnison Valley Daily Weather Update-  For 5/10:  This wraparound moisture is getting far enough west to make a real run at us from the southwest with regional radar showing more to come through the morning. Milder temperatures have the valley split with highs continuing to rise today. Road surfaces remain wet down low but expect complicated travel on Monarch with snow showers turning to rain but moisture remains possible throughout the day. The initial surge should be past us for the Lady Titans Soccer playoff this afternoon but have a raincoat handy.

Temperatures: Lows were warm at 32 for Gunni and 29 for CB. Highs will reach 52 for Gunni and 46 for CB. Lows tonight will be about the same with few changes.

Outlook: High pressure building into the Great Basin starts to push this stubborn cut off low east early Saturday but expect a last surge of moisture continuing into Saturday night. Remnants will move in from the north Sunday with showers in the morning potentially clearing into the afternoon for some Mother’s Day reprieve. This will be a work in progress so stay tuned.
